about a year or so ago, Drew and I decided to buy some fish. we got two goldfish, named them Benson and Stabler and things were good. last week Friday while I was at work, Drew called to tell me Benson died. we were bummed, but Drew flushed her and things were good. Drew has been watching Stabler, thinking Stabler was looking a little sad. we went to the pet store and bought Stabler some friends. yesterday we brought home Briscoe and Lupo. Stabler seemed to adjust to having new roomies pretty fast. today we woke up and Stabler swimming weird, almost like he was drunk (not that I've hung out with lots of drunk fish, but I'm guessing that's what a drunk fish would swim like)
Stabler has been swimming (barely) on his side most of the day. sadly, I think it's just a matter of time before we lose Stabler. we're bummed out. hopefully our luck with fish will turn around

blogging is like working out and eating healthy
the start of a new year (pretty much) it's January 10 and I decided to create a blog and try to keep up with it. my mom has been bugging me to update my China blog, but I don't know what to add to it. I can go on and on about how awesome my trip was, but anyone who has talked to me knows I had a great time. I guess my mom wanting me to blog about my trip felt like homework to me. yeah, I'm 33 and I worry about my mom telling me to do something that I don't want to do.
should I let people know who I am? it occured to me I am writing this like everyone in cyberland knows me and of course not everyone knows me. here is some info about me:
my name is Courtney. I am 33. I live in Berkley, MI. I've been married to Drew for almost five years. I am a senior at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI. I'm majoring in Media Communications. I work as a Production Assistant part-time
between school and work, I keep busy with my 7 nieces and nephews (come June of this year it'll be 8)
my husband suffers from chronic kidney stones and chronic back pain. his problems started in January of 2005 and has been ongoing since then. it's been really rough dealing with the chronic pain and doctors appointments
that's pretty much who I am in a nutshell
have a super day!
